Who we are

Cible is a product operated by Solutions Zasenami Inc. ("Cible", "we"), based in Quebec, Canada. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and PIPEDA.

Privacy officer

Any privacy question can be sent to our privacy officer at cible@zasenami.com. We respond within the timelines required by law.

Information we collect

  • Account: name, email address, preferred language, and billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store your card numbers).
  • Usage data: actions within the app (searches, saved leads, drafts), to operate the service and measure AI consumption.
  • Prospecting data: business information (company names and people’s names in their professional role, job functions, business contact details) sourced from the Quebec enterprise registry (REQ), Quebec open data and public registries, and supplemented by B2B research. See the "Prospecting data and purpose" section.
  • Essential cookies: strictly necessary for operation (session, security, preferences). See our cookie policy.

Prospecting data and purpose

Cible brings together publicly available business information — company names and people’s names in their professional role, job functions, business contact details — sourced from the Quebec enterprise registry (REQ), Quebec open data and public registries, and supplemented by B2B research. This information relates to people’s professional context.

The purpose is limited: to help our users identify and reach relevant Quebec businesses for legitimate B2B outreach. We do not use this information for other purposes and we do not sell it (Law 25, PIPEDA).

If personal information about you appears in this data, you can ask us to remove it — see the "Your rights" section.

Public preview: your email

The "Free preview" page lets you answer three questions about your market and see how many Quebec companies match. That number is free and asks for nothing. To see ten of those companies, we ask for your email address.

We use that address for two purposes and no others: to show you those ten companies, and to pre-fill your targeting profile if you later create an account with the same address. We keep the three answers you gave for that second purpose.

Receiving our news by email is a separate box, unchecked by default, and it is never a condition of seeing the list. If you tick it, you can unsubscribe at any time (CASL). If you do not tick it, we send you nothing.

We do not sell that address and we do not share it with anyone. You can ask us to remove it at any time — see the "Your rights" section — and an address already removed cannot be re-added through this form.

Why we use your information

  • Provide and secure the service.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Measure AI consumption (percentage meters) and prevent abuse.
  • Contact you about your account or the service.

Consent

We obtain your consent for collecting and using your information. Optional cookies (if any) stay off until you accept them (consent denied by default). You may withdraw consent at any time.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell your information. We use subprocessors (hosting, payments, AI) that process data on our behalf, under contract and with adequate safeguards. The list is published on our Subprocessors page.

Disclosure outside Quebec

Our hosting, payment-processing, and AI text-generation providers are located in the United States. Your information may therefore be stored or processed there and be subject to U.S. law, under contractual safeguards. Before such a transfer outside Quebec, we conduct a privacy impact assessment and require equivalent protection by contract.

Retention and suppression

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, then for as long as needed to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account.

When we act on a verified removal request, we delete the information concerned and keep only a minimal suppression record, solely to avoid re-collecting it.

Your rights

  • Access: obtain a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion and de-indexing: have the personal information about you removed from our prospecting data.
  • Withdrawal of consent, subject to our legal obligations.
  • Portability: receive your information in a structured technological format.
  • To exercise a right, write to cible@zasenami.com.

Security

We apply technical and organizational measures: encryption in transit, row-level access control (RLS), per-user data isolation, and logging. No system is infallible, but we treat security as a non-negotiable priority.

Privacy incident

In the event of an incident posing a risk of serious harm, we will notify the affected individuals and the Commission d’accès à l’information, in accordance with Law 25.

Changes

We may update this policy. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy (Law 96). The update date appears at the top of this page.
